Service Description

2nd Nov is World Stress Awareness Day. With the theme being a spotlight on the ways that stress can affect people and what you can do to manage your stress before it becomes a problem. this workshop is has a focus on prevention as well minimisation. Here's what you'll learn: - learning your stress responses to identify you're on the stress spectrum - how it manifests for us physically, mentally, emotionally and behaviourally. - the danger of staying in a state where the sympathetic nervous system is activated for prolonged periods: chronic illness, link to sleep deprivation, cancer etc - Understanding triggers: the circle of control - overview of stress management techniques: practice sessions of mindfulness, havening and tapping The talk is led by Sarah Dodsley our stress expert. She is a fully qualified wellness coach, EFT and havening practioners, a Informal talk with workshop elements. Can use slides if needed or just the flipchart if preferred.
